We work with

EPDM Rubber Roofing

black

EPDM is a rubber flat roofing system that creates a flexible, durable and weather-resistant covering, which is fitted as a continuous membrane. It offers a clean finish and excellent resistance to cracking, making it a highly durable and long-lasting option.

Felt Roofing

road, gravel, floor, flooring, rock, tarmac

Felt is a traditional flat roofing material that offers a practical and cost-effective option, especially for straightforward flat roof areas. We use modern approaches and materials to install felt systems that will provide excellent weather resistance and durability.

What we do

New Flat Roofs

We install new flat roofs using EPDM or felt, depending on the building, budget and preferred finish. We prepare the deck, fit the chosen roof covering, form the edges and outlets, and complete the roof with suitable trims and weatherproofing details.

Flat Roof Repairs

We repair leaks, splits, lifting edges, damaged felt, failed EPDM details, worn flashings and problems around outlets or upstands. We trace the likely source of the issue and carry out repairs that restore the roof’s ability to shed water.

Flat Roof Replacement

We strip back tired or failing flat roof coverings and replace them with a new EPDM or felt system. We check the roof deck, replace damaged boards where needed, and install a new covering with properly finished edges and drainage points.

Edge, Trim and Outlet Repairs

We repair or replace edge trims, roof outlets, upstands, corners and drainage details. We secure loose sections, reseal vulnerable points and help prevent water from sitting on the roof or entering the building.

If you’ve got an urgent roof issue or water ingress, please give us a call. We can install a fast, temporary fix to prevent any further damage in the short term, and can then advise about the best long-term repair.

We inspect the chimney, leadwork, brickwork, flaunching and nearby roof covering to find likely causes of leaks. We then carry out the smallest repair needed to restore long-lasting weather protection.

We work in Southend-on-Sea all year round

We serve most postcodes including SS0, SS1, SS2 and SS3.

In Southend-on-Sea we often work on dense Victorian and Edwardian terraces in Leigh, Westcliff and central Southend, where close spacing calls for careful scaffold layout and protection to adjoining roofs and gardens. In Leigh Old Town or Clifftown, reroofing may need closer material matching and planning checks, while estuary-facing roofs benefit from extra attention to flashings, gutters and chimney details.
